Maurice Beer, MD

Dr. Beer is a Board Certified Internist specializing in general internal medicine and is a Certified Functional Medicine practitioner by the Institute for Functional Medicine. He is also Board Certified in Holistic Medicine. Dr. Beer has been in private practice since 1981 and is on staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital.

A graduate of Columbia College and New York Medical College, Dr. Beer completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College. He has advanced training in Functional Medicine, nutrition and Integrative Medicine. He has completed the training in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice and is currently pursuing a series of advanced seminars that will lead to certification in Functional Medicine.

Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Beer worked as an emergency room physician, was the Medical Director of the Center for Comprehensive Health Practice, and served as a consultant to the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice Program. He was a clinical instructor at New York Medical College and served as director of the College’s general medical clinic. He is currently a clinical instructor in the NYU Nurse Practitioner program.

Jessica is a board-certified nurse practitioner whose passion is helping people truly improve and optimize their health. She is a life-long athlete and health aficionado who has experienced firsthand the hardships of chronic disease that afflict so many people. She is determined to help others navigate these difficult issues, and uses her life experiences as inspiration to continually find new and better ways to help herself, her family and her patients.

She received her Master’s degree from New York University’s nationally-acclaimed programs in Adult Primary Care and Holistic Care, and has over five years of experience providing direct patient care in primary and specialized care settings, including as a registered professional nurse at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell.

Jessica is dedicated to using the latest evidence-based practices from standard, integrative, holistic and functional medicine. She is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, and a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has advanced training in functional medicine, nutrition, and the gut microbiome.

Jessica also incorporates health and wellness into her personal life. She experiments with different approaches to nutrition, and enjoys running (Boston Marathon qualifier), triathlons, yoga, and hiking.

Delayne Gratopp, NMD

Dr. Delayne Gratopp is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor trained in general family medicine with expertise in oral and intravenous nutritional therapies for chronic illness. She holds an additional Masters in the Science of Human Nutrition.

Dr. Gratopp’s clinical training includes advanced intravenous nutrient therapy, mesotherapy, trigger point injections, prolotherapy, aesthetics, minor surgery and bone manipulation.

Additionally, she holds 4 certifications of Advanced Nutrient Therapies from Intravenous Nutrient Therapy for Physicians from chelation to chronic diseases.  She consult for several Functional and Integrative practices in the Tri-state area.

She received her medical training at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and the UB College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has received her Master’s in Science in Human Nutrition at UB.
